If you are a U.S. citizen with a valid Social Security Number (SSN), we will receive your 147c (EIN confirmation letter) online and upload it to your account as soon as possible. You can sign into your account [HYPERLINK] to view the documents we have uploaded.
If you are a non-US citizen, we will first receive your SS-4 with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) writing the EIN number on the top. This SS-4 works as a valid EIN confirmation letter. Later on we will receive your 147c at one of our offices and will scan and upload this document to your account as soon as possible. If you have already received your EIN number, but not your 147c confirmation form, please note that this confirmation needs to be manually shipped to us then scanned and uploaded to your account. In the meantime The time this process takes varies. Read more here.
Please note that if it has been more than 3 weeks since we submitted your EIN application we legally cannot access your EIN confirmation letter. You personally must call them to request a copy of your EIN confirmation document. To do this call
1-800-829-4933 and ask for a Form 147c, also known as an EIN Verification letter, to be issued to you. This number reaches the IRS Business & Specialty Tax department, which is open 7:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. C.T. Monday through Friday.
